Fall: a seminar in phonological theory treating tone in Bantu languages.

Winter: Introduction to Linguistics 2, primarily for undergraduates, dealing with phonetics, phonology, morphology, computational linguistics, and American Sign Language.

1. Introduction to computational linguistics (offered in the Computer Science department; assumes familiarity with C++ programming)
